No. 56, 26th November: Mother and fawns



This is another photo from the summer - this time a mother roe deer with her fawns. I love how you can only just see their faces poking up above the wheat! It's hard to tell in the photo but it was actually non-stop drizzling when I took this shot. I spent over an hour with them as they moved about the field, slowly edging closer on my hands and knees and getting more and more soaked! This is the photo for June in my 2021 calendar. I still have calendars available if you would like one, either for yourself or perhaps as a Christmas present!
