Here's a peaceful photo of a little egret coming down to land in Daymer Bay, Cornwall. During my stay there last September I discovered a group of egrets fishing among the rock pools one morning. As the tide came in they were driven further inland and would periodically fly up to land a little closer. I love the simple pastel colours of the egret's feathers and the still sea behind.
