This photo was taken the same morning as the tree-sunrise I posted a few days ago. Dew in early morning light is always beautiful to photograph. I got down low and tried to pick out a composition using the screen on the back of my camera. I particularly liked the way these two blades of grass were crossed over one another, a bit like clashing swords or perhaps two people hugging. Shooting into the light like this made the surrounding out-of-focus dewdrops appear as shimmering circles of bokeh.
Technical details: Canon 7D MKII + 100mm macro lens; 1/1250 sec at f/2.8; ISO 125.
