No. 56, 26th November: Mother and fawns

This is another photo from the summer - this time a mother roe deer with her fawns. I love how you can only just see their faces poking up above the wheat! It's hard to tell in the photo but it was actually non-stop drizzling when I took this shot. I spent over an hour with them as they moved about the field, slowly edging closer on my hands and knees and getting more and more soaked!
